Amazfit, World’s Second Largest Wearables Manufacturer, Unveils U.S. Product Line at CES 2017

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Amazfit,
the second largest wearables manufacturer globally, announced today
plans to hit the ground at CES 2017 to unveil its full line of wearable
activity trackers, including the Moonbeam, Equator, Arc and Pace, all
together for the first time in the U.S.

Amazfit is the exclusive maker of the Mi Band and has sold more than 31
million activity trackers worldwide. The company entered the U.S. market
in August 2016 with the launch of Moonbeam and Equator, the slimmest and
most lightweight activity trackers on the market today. Subsequent
products, Arc, a heart rate, activity and sleep tracker, and Pace, a
GPS-enabled smartwatch, heart rate and activity tracker, launched in
October and November, respectively. Amazfit is differentiating with a
focus on fashion, price point (starting at $50) and battery life (up to
20 days).

“It’s a pivotal time for the wearables market and the difference between
its success and failure lies in manufacturers’ ability to build products
that change habits to improve health and truly make daily life easier,”
said Frederik Hermann, Head of Marketing and Sales at Huami. “In China,
our wearable products already offer payment, identity and building
access integration and we’ll look to carry these IoT features into our
US product portfolio along with healthcare and medical grade wearables
in 2017. CES is a significant milestone for Amazfit as we build on our
momentum of the past year and look for new ways to extend high-quality,
affordable and easy-to-use wearables to the wider U.S. audience.”
