First to Offer 1¼-Inch Thick Composite Trim for Premium Siding

CHARLOTTE, N.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Bigger is better. This rings true for the premium segment of the siding
and trim category, where today’s luxury trim products are thicker. To
meet the demands of thick siding applications where a deep reveal is
needed, MiraTEC® Treated Exterior Composite trim launched a
new 1¼-inch option.

1¼-inch option from MiraTEC is one solid piece of trim, unlike other
products that are laminated to reach this thickness. MiraTEC was created
to overcome all of the challenges inherent to exterior trim.
Also on display at IBS was a close-up of a new MiraTEC siding product
that the new 1¼-inch exterior trim will complement. The new siding is
anticipated to be available in the second half of 2016.
