Sports Network’s Exclusive Coverage of Chile vs. Argentina CONMEBOL
Qualifying Match Wins Big among U.S. Audiences

MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–beIN SPORTS today announced ratings following the 2018 FIFA World Cup™
qualifiers. The broadcasts with the strongest showings included the
CONMEBOL qualifying match featuring Chile vs. Argentina on March 24th
which delivered an average audience of 564,000 total viewers (P2+)
across both beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS en Español. According to Nielsen
Media Research, on Thursday, March 24th, beIN SPORTS en
Español dominated Spanish-language audiences; delivering the top five
sports programs of the day.

Additional Highlights:

  • The March 24th telecast of Chile vs. Argentina was the
    number one program of the day among Spanish-language cable networks,
    delivering 456,000 total viewers (P2+) on beIN SPORTS en Español.
  • The top five sports programs of the day among Spanish-language
    audiences on March 24th included the Peru vs. Venezuela
    matchup, which delivered 253,000 total viewers (P2+), as well as the
    beIN SPORTS original program “The Express Preview” which aired prior
    to the match, and delivered 209,000 total viewers (P2+) on beIN SPORTS
    en Español.
  • On March 25th, beIN SPORTS en Español broadcasts were
    placed in two of the top five sports programs of the day among
    Spanish-language cable networks, and included the Brazil vs. Uruguay
    match which delivered an average of 389,000 total viewers (P2+).
  • The Argentina vs. Bolivia match which aired on March 29th
    delivered 314,000 total viewers (P2+), while Colombia vs. Ecuador
    match airing on the same day delivered 263,000 total viewers (P2+);
    both were ranked among the top five telecasts of the day among
    Spanish-language cable networks.
