KAPOLEI, Hawaii–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#24HourFitness–24 Hour Fitness is joining West-Oahu’s fastest-growing community in
Kapolei, with a new club in the recently opened Ka Makana Ali’i Mall
which boasts over 150 new retail options. The addition of the mall is
one piece of the much larger economic development plans springing to
life in Oahu.
A grand opening event is scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2016,
9:00 a.m., until 1:00 p.m., 24 Hour Fitness Kapolei club, Ka Makana
Ali’i Mall, 91-5431 Kapolei Parkway, M100, Kapolei. The community
is invited to this free celebration, which includes club tours, prize
drawings, group training demonstrations, innovative group exercise
studio classes and more.
As a part of the celebration, a Native Hawaiian “Kahu” will perform a
traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony to the sounds of the Kapolei High
School marching band on Grand Opening day. Area dignitaries are expected
to attend and welcome the new club to the community.
The 1.4-million-square-foot shopping center is the first on Oahu in more
than three decades, and the only regional mall in West Oahu. The
addition of 24 Hour Fitness makes going to the gym even more convenient
for local residents who previously had to travel more than 10 miles to
reach a gym location.
