ADDING MULTIMEDIA 27th Annual CALIBRE Golf Classic Raises $70,000 to Benefit Homes for Our Troops
ALEXANDRIA, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–CALIBRE Systems, Inc. (CALIBRE), along with 48 sponsors and 140 golfers,
raised $70,000 to benefit Homes for Our Troops at the 27th Annual
CALIBRE Golf Classic held on May 25, 2016 at 1757 Golf Club in Dulles,
Virginia.
Homes for Our Troops is a privately funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization that builds specially adapted, mortgage-free homes
nationwide for severely injured Post-9/11 Veterans. They raise money,
obtain building materials, secure professional labor, and coordinate the
process to build homes that will provide injured Veterans with freedom
of movement and the ability to live independently. These homes enable
our Nation’s heroes to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding
their lives.
CALIBRE employees and business partners are proud to support and raise
awareness of the services provided by Homes for Our Troops. Through the
support of the tournament, this year CALIBRE is helping two local
Veterans achieve the dream of a fully accessible home.
