LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–AIDS
Healthcare Foundation
(AHF) today mourned the death of Bill
Rosendahl
, a longtime Los Angeles City Council Member (District 11,
2005–2013) and former Adelphia Cable Television executive and talk show
host, who passed away earlier today after a valiant four-year battle
with cancer. AHF President Michael Weinstein, an oftentimes
collaborator and close friend of Rosendahl, issued the following
statement on his passing:

“Bill Rosendahl was a prince of a man who gave voice to the voiceless.
He was a longstanding, and one of the strongest supporters of AHF and
for the causes of people living with HIV and AIDS. Long before it was
fashionable, Bill used the platform of his cable television news show to
educate and inform the public about important, often unheralded causes
that were near to his heart: the fight against HIV/AIDS, LGBT issues,
the homeless and other disenfranchised communities. He will be
profoundly missed.”
