AHF Supports the Long Beach LGBTQ Community at Pride Festival and Parade May 21st-22nd

AIDS Healthcare Foundation will provide free condoms, information on
STD prevention and treatment, and free HIV testing at the Long Beach
Pride event this weekend

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#LBPride—AIDS
Healthcare Foundation (AHF), the largest global AIDS organization,
is proud to take part in the 2016
Long Beach Pride Festival and Parade May 21st-22nd. AHF will offer
free 1-minute HIV tests, free condoms, and safer sex information at Booth
G-300 on both festival days from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Pride attendees
will have the opportunity to sign on to AHF’s advocacy initiatives,
including its California ballot measure aimed at curbing the exorbitant
prices charged by pharmaceutical companies for lifesaving HIV and Hep C
drugs. Representatives from AHF Pharmacy will also be on site to promote
their services.

AHF clients, volunteers, staff and members of Impulse
Group will also march with a newly updated Pride bus during the Long
Beach Pride Parade on Sunday. The bus is wrapped with a rainbow of
smiling faces, representing the diversity within the LGBTQ community.
The “One Comm(unity), One Love” slogan communicates the sense of
strength and unity among LGBTQ individuals, especially in the face of
the HIV/AIDS virus that disproportionately affects their community.
