September 30
th at 5:30 PM in Seattle
to celebrate its new AHF Seattle Healthcare Center, located at 1016 E.

“We are excited to build upon AHF’s growing presence in Seattle by now
offering health care services in the same Capitol Hill location as our
AHF Pharmacy and our Out of the Closet thrift store,” said AHF Director
of Business and Program Development Patricia D. Bermudez.

For the last three years, AHF has served as a community partner with the
City of Seattle, King County, community based organizations and medical
providers in the local response to AIDS. “These dedicated community
partners have taken a holistic and cooperative approach to coordinated
care,” said Jonathan Petrus, head of AHF’s Western Bureau
and Chief Investment Officer. “While the AIDS epidemic rages beyond
crisis levels elsewhere, the actions taken by stakeholders here have
yielded laudable results. There is still work to be done, and AHF stands
ready as a willing partner to augment services in order to reach the
proverbial ‘last few miles of the marathon’ in our combined efforts to
end AIDS in the City of Seattle, King County and the state of
Washington.”

According to the June 2015 Seattle/King County HIV/AIDS Quarterly
Surveillance Report, there are currently 7,627 people currently living
with HIV or AIDS in Seattle/King County and 13,882 people who have been
diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in the state of Washington.
