Analog Devices Sponsors AAAS Family Science Days

NORWOOD, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Technologists from Analog
Devices, Inc.
(ADI) will meet with Boston-area children, families,
and teachers as they converge on the Hynes Convention Center in Boston
on February 18-19, 2017, for Family
Science Days
, a free community event that is part of the American
Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Annual Meeting. ADI is
a sponsor of AAAS Family Science Days. As part of the event’s hands-on
demos, shows, talks by scientists, and other activities for youth and
their families, ADI will be demonstrating how its cutting-edge
technologies make our lives healthier, safer, and greener.

“AAAS Family Science Days is designed to help Boston-area children more
fully understand how deeply science is interwoven into and impacts their
daily lives,” said Emily Therese Cloyd, Public Engagement Project
Director, AAAS. “We greatly appreciate Analog Devices’ support of AAAS
Family Science Days and its recognition of how events such as these help
shape the scientific leaders of tomorrow.”

“Analog Devices is honored to support this exceptional event and give
children a hands-on opportunity to see their science lessons brought to
life,” said Vincent Roche, president and CEO, Analog Devices.
“Science and technology are increasingly driving our world’s economies
and shaping our society. Family Science Days and the interaction AAAS
enables between today’s science and technology leaders and the children
who will be our future leaders is therefore crucial to our collective
future. ADI is pleased to play its part in nurturing the creative,
scientific spark inside all of us.”
