Author event to feature meet and greet and signing of gymnast’s new
memoir “Courage to Soar”
SPRING, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#BAM—Simone Biles, three-time world champion gymnast and 14-time gold
medalist, will sign her brand-new memoir, “Courage
to Soar: A Body in Motion, a Life in Balance” on Monday,
January 16 at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at World
Champions Centre in her hometown of Spring, located at 28865
Birnham Woods Drive.
Simone Biles’ entrance into the world of gymnastics may have started on
a daycare field trip, but the 19-year-old Olympian and gold medalist has
determination, passion, hard work and God-given talent to thank for
making her one of the world’s most elite gymnasts. Despite earning 14
gold medals and being the most decorated American gymnast of all time,

inspiring new memoir “Courage to Soar,” the young athlete gives fans an
inside look into her personal life on and off the mat. From experiencing
an early childhood in foster care to relying on her faith and family to
stay focused and positive to earning a coveted spot on the 2016 Olympic
team and competing on the world’s biggest sports stage, Biles takes
readers through the events, challenges and achievements that have molded
her into the person she is today.
