Campingaz Issues a Voluntary Recall of the Gas Grill 3 Series Classic L Plus Pressure Regulator

ZÜRICH–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Campingaz has announced a voluntary recall of the pressure regulators
that may have been inadvertently equipped on 31 units of the 3 Series
Classic L Plus gas grills, and which are not compatible with Swiss gas
cylinders. The use of the incorrect pressure regulator can cause the
attachment of the fuel canister to not fully seal, which could result in
a gas leak and potential fire.

The 31 gas grills potentially affected by this defect were exclusively
sold in Switzerland after January 1, 2017.

“The safety of our consumers and the quality of our products is of the
utmost importance to us and we are issuing this voluntary recall to
ensure the safety of our consumers,” said Martin Vergien, General
Manager of EMEA for Coleman. “We apologize for this inconvenience and
hope to resolve this issue in a timely manner.”

There have been no confirmed accidents to date, but consumers are
strongly encouraged to check the pressure regulator on their grills by
disconnecting the regulator from the cylinder and determining if it
corresponds with Swiss standards.
