Catholic Mutual and Church Mutual Enter a Strategic Alliance

MERRILL, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Catholic Mutual Group, the largest coverage provider for the Catholic
Church in North America, and Church Mutual Insurance Company (CMIC), the
nation’s largest insurer of religious organizations, today announced a
strategic alliance under which CMIC will underwrite auto and workers’
compensation insurance for all of the Catholic dioceses and other
various Catholic organizations in the United States currently served by
Catholic Mutual.

Under the strategic alliance, CMIC will now be the preferred auto and
workers’ compensation underwriter for the Catholic dioceses and
archdioceses, religious orders and other Catholic institutions in the
United States that have coverage with Catholic Mutual. The goal of this
strategic alliance will be to provide the Catholic Church with superior
coverage, service and risk management at a fair price.
