Comcast Debuts ‘Eternally Rome’ in Celebration of the World Meeting of Families – Philadelphia 2015 and the Historic Visit of Pope Francis

The 13-Minute Show, Presented in the Comcast Center Lobby, Depicts
the Ancient, Beautiful City in Stunning High-Resolution Cinematography

PHILADELPHIA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–In celebration of the World Meeting of Families – Philadelphia 2015 and
the historic visit of Pope Francis to Philadelphia, Comcast today
unveiled Eternally Rome, a new 13-minute show presented on “The
Comcast Experience” video wall in the Comcast Center lobby.


Eternally Rome is a visual celebration of the ancient, beautiful
city, shot using stunning high-resolution cinematography and featuring
breathtaking views of some of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, including
the Colosseum, Pantheon, The Roman Forum, St. Peter’s Square and Vatican
City.

Brian L. Roberts, Chairman and CEO of Comcast, and Archbishop Charles J.
Chaput of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, presented the show today to
several hundred guests in the Comcast Center lobby.

Philadelphia,” said Archbishop Chaput. “I’m most grateful to Comcast for
creating this visual celebration of the Eternal City that will enhance
the once-in-a-lifetime experience for all who are participating in the
World Meeting of Families and the visit of Pope Francis.”

Eternally Rome will be shown beginning today, September 17, at
2:00 p.m., and will conclude on Sunday, September 27, at 3:00 p.m. The
show will be presented daily at the top of every hour from 10:00 a.m. to
8:00 p.m., except for 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. Following the 3:00 p.m.
final showing of Eternally Rome on September 27, Comcast will
carry the Papal Mass live in the Comcast Center lobby at 4:00 p.m.

“The Comcast Experience” video wall in the Comcast Center lobby is a
spectacular blending of art and technology, and has become a destination
for Philadelphians and visitors to the city. Displaying more than 10
million pixels, The Comcast Experience is one of the world’s highest
resolution LED displays standing 83.3 feet wide and 25.4 feet high.
