Specialty Retailer to Grand Open Its First Store in the Philadelphia

is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its first store in the
Philadelphia area. The new
store in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania is located in Water Tower
Square Shopping Center at 751 Horsham Road. Based in California, Cost
Plus World Market is already well known for its eclectic assortment of unique
and authentic home furniture, décor, tabletop items, jewelry
and accessories, and more from around the world.

World Market buyers travel the globe visiting remote villages,

To start the Montgomeryville store’s grand
opening celebration, a ribbon cutting with city officials and
members of the local chamber of commerce on Thursday, January 28 at 9:00
am officially marks the opening of the store. The first 100 shoppers
through the door on Thursday, January 28, 2016 will receive a $10 Cost
Plus World
Market gift card. From Thursday, January 28 through Sunday, January
31, 2016, the first 100 customers will receive a free reusable World
Market tote bag. In addition, the store will host a twice-daily raffle
prize of a $250 World Market gift card throughout the grand opening
weekend. Customers will also be able to enjoy live entertainment, food
and beverage sampling and more throughout the weekend.

Adding to the celebration, World Market welcomes HGTV celebrity designer
Genevieve Gorder to the store on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 1:00 –
3:00 pm. The first 200 customers to bring in five non-perishable,
non-glass food items to donate to Manna on Main Street will have a
chance to meet Genevieve.
