Dungarvin Inc. Acquires the Direct Supports Segment of the Arc of Northwest Indiana

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#AutismSpectrum–Today, Dungarvin
Inc. announced effective September 13, 2016 that it had acquired the
direct supports to individuals with disabilities provided by the
Arc of Northwest Indiana (Arc-NWI). With the completion of this
acquisition Dungarvin expands its footprint in northern Indiana.

The service segment that Dungarvin Inc. is obtaining from the Arc–NWI
provides supports to more than 400 individuals with intellectual and/or
developmental disabilities in three day program locations, as well as 45
individuals on the Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver. In
addition, the Arc-NWI employs approximately 185 staff. Nearly all of the
employees, including their leadership, are expected join the Dungarvin
team, continuing to supply the quality services they were providing
through the Arc-NWI.

All services being assumed by Dungarvin Indiana, LLC are provided in the
northwest corner of Indiana. With the acquisition of this provider, two
new service models – prevocational services and behavior management
services – will be added to the menu of supports already provided within
the state of Indiana.
