ERI to Team with Consumer Technology Association and Samsung for Free E-Waste Recycling Event after this Year’s CES
LAS VEGAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Joining forces with the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™, formerly
the Consumer Electronics Association, Samsung and Electronic
Recyclers International (ERI), the nation’s leading recycler of
electronic waste, will host a free e-waste collection event on January
10. The event will help provide residents of the City of Las Vegas and
surrounding areas with a convenient way to responsibly recycle unwanted
consumer electronics.
This opportunity will allow people in the Las Vegas area to dispose of
their unwanted electronics in an environmentally responsible way – and
free of charge – on Sunday, January 10th from 10 a.m. to 2
p.m. in the Gold Parking Lot (316 Convention Center Drive) of the Las
Vegas Convention Center, site of Tech East at CES®.
This special electronics recycling event is sponsored by Samsung and
hosted by CTA – the owner and producer of CES, the world’s gathering
place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. It is
free to the public.
Accepted items include computer equipment, televisions and mobile
devices. For this special manufacturing take-back program, ERI will
responsibly and securely recycle all e-waste collected.
