Feld Entertainment Inc. Launches a Worldwide Search For the Next Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Ringmaster
In-person auditions to take place in Dallas, Austin, Las Vegas, New
York and Orlando;
Online auditions open now
ELLENTON, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Feld Entertainment Inc., the worldwide leader in producing live family
entertainment, announced today that it is launching a global search for
the ringmaster who will preside over Ringling Bros. and Barnum &
Bailey® Presents Circus XTREME®. Auditions are slated
to be held online and in-person in five major cities around the country,
starting in Dallas on Friday, August 12 at the American Airlines Center.
Additional cities include Austin (August 26), Las Vegas (September 8),
New York (September 14) and Orlando (September 16).
“The Ringmaster serves as a Ringling Bros.® brand ambassador,”

therefore, we are looking for an energetic and contemporary man or woman
who has the charisma to engage today’s families and immerse them in the
fun and exciting experience of Circus XTREME.”
Candidates who wish to throw their hat into the ring can pre-register
for an in-person audition or audition online at www.Ringling.com/Ringmaster.
All applicants auditioning online must submit a headshot, résumé and
video singing the opening track from Circus XTREME, “We’re On a
Quest,” through the online portal. Applicants attending in-person
auditions should bring a headshot, résumé and be prepared to sing “We’re
On a Quest” and a song of their choice. Once finalists are chosen, Ringling
Bros. fans will be able to take part in the selection process by
voting for items such as the costume jackets and, top hats the finalist
will wear, along with the songs they will sing during the final round of
auditions.
The selected candidate will embark on an 18-month tour with Circus
XTREME. Starring alongside artists who redefine the word “extreme”
in everything they do by combining never-before-seen spectacles with
original, fast-paced performances, the newly-crowned ringmaster will
take the helm as the voice of an American icon and the face of The
Greatest Show On Earth®.
