GreaterGood.org Celebrates 10 Years of Giving Where It Matters
The Organization Protecting People, Pets, and the Planet Reaches $100
Million Milestone
SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–GreaterGood.org,
an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization devoted to improving
the health and well-being of people, pets, and the planet, will
celebrate 10 years of supporting high-impact nonprofit projects and
organizations this September. Over the past decade, GreaterGood.org grew
to curate and operate their own impactful Signature Programs, on top of
giving over $100 million in cash and product grants to over 3,000
charity partners.
GreaterGood.org’s suite of Signature Programs, along with project
partnerships, provide funding focused on its mission to protect people,
pets, and the planet.
For its 10 year anniversary, GreaterGood.org is celebrating the
following milestones:

People
-
Over 500,000,000 cups of food provided directly to
those in need to fight world hunger. -
Over 16,000 mammograms provided to low-income
women through its Signature Mammography Program. -
GROW
(Girls’ Right to Opportunity Worldwide), a Signature Program,
covered costs for over 260 girls in 10 countries to
attend school, as well as safely transported 100 girls to
and from school daily in Afghanistan by funding a school bus
through the Safe
Ride to School program, for girls who were previously
attacked by acid, providing over 300,000 safe rides to school
thus far.

Over 100 animal shelters renovated through the
Signature Program Rescue
Rebuild, bettering the lives of nearly 175,000 shelter
pets as they wait for forever homes. -
Over 150,000 vaccinations provided for shelter
animals in need in all 50 states through the A
Shot At Life Signature Program. -
Over 200 million pet meals delivered to pets
throughout the U.S. through donations and grants made possible
through the Signature Program Rescue
Bank.

Over 6,000 animal and 8,000 plant observations made
on expeditions to the Sky Islands region of Sonora, Mexico,
documented through the Signature Program Madrean
Discovery Expeditions. An education effort through the
program reached over 400 students to inform the community
about the area’s fragile ecosystem. -
Over 31,000 acres of land in Sonora, Mexico, secured
through the Signature Program Project
Wildcat to protect the majestic jaguar, forming a large
safe zone for jaguars and the ultimate source area for the
jaguars’ reintroduction into the U.S. -
Over 1,175,000 acres, through global partnerships,
protected spanning 15 countries on five continents.
In Mexico alone, more than 109,000 trees planted,
specifically benefiting the once endangered Monarch Butterflies.

launching this April. For each donation, one can see the direct impact
of the gift. Each month will highlight multiple Signature Programs,
starting with funding girls’ education through Project
Amal ou Salam and protecting endangered species through Project
