Haug Partners LLP Continues Expansion with Hire of Litigator Fred A. Kelly

Former Nixon Peabody Partner Will Join the Firm’s Life Science
Practice in Boston

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Haug
Partners LLP today announced that well-known litigator Fred A.
Kelly, has joined the firm’s Life Science Practice as a partner resident
in the firm’s Boston office. Kelly was formerly a partner at Nixon
Peabody.

Kelly has successfully litigated and tried all manner of commercial and
product-related disputes for life sciences companies. His most recent
experience includes cases under the False Claims Act, claims and class
actions under state consumer protection acts, reverse payment cases,
trade secret and non-competition matters, and claims under clinical
trial, co-promotion, and licensing agreements. He has also litigated and
tried disputes involving false advertising under state consumer
protection acts and the Lanham Act, trademark infringement, off-label
promotion, product pricing (AWP), consumer privacy, and executive
compensation. Kelly also counsels life science companies in these areas
to help them better identify, minimize, and manage risk.
