Heather Masterson Appointed President and CEO of Travelers Canada
TORONTO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Travelers Canada today announced the appointment of Heather Masterson as
President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Masterson
succeeds Duane Sanders, who has taken a senior leadership role in the
company’s largest business segment in the United States.
Masterson, who joined Travelers Canada in September 2015 as Chief
Operating Officer, was previously President and CEO of Totten Insurance
Group. She also held several executive positions at HUB International
and served as Vice President of AIG WorldSource.
“Heather is a proven leader with a tremendous background in the industry
and an exceptional track record,” said Kevin Smith, President of
International at Travelers. “She has brought a valuable perspective to
our distribution strategy through her knowledge of the Canadian
