H&M Hosts Hailee Steinfeld & Echosmith Performance to Celebrate the Latest H&M Store in Texas

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#EchosmithH&M, Hennes & Mauritz, one of the top retailers offering fashion and
quality at the best price in a sustainable way, celebrated the opening
of a new store at Sundance Square in Fort Worth, Texas. Shoppers and
music fans gathered at Sundance Square Plaza to be the first to hear
Hailee Steinfeld and Echosmith at a special performance on April 20
th.
Twenty lucky customers were chosen for meet-and-greets with the
musical artists when the new location opened on April 7
th.

beautiful city and we are thrilled to expand and create new jobs there
as well as commemorate this new location with performances from amazing
talents Hailee Steinfeld and Echosmith.”

The store opened to the public at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 7th
with a grand celebration. On opening day, the first 300 customers in
line received an Access to Fashion Pass valued between $10 and
$300 as well as giveaways and 20 lucky customers in line won a
meet-and-greet with Hailee Steinfeld and Echosmith at their performance
last night. To further celebrate the grand opening, customers who
brought garments to be recycled in H&M’s Garment Collecting program
before the store opened were entered to win gift cards valued between
$50 and $250.

Additionally, the retailer’s latest sustainable campaign, World Recycle
Week, an ambitious Garment Collecting movement, is taking place from
April 18th to April 24th. H&M, the first fashion
company to launch a global garment collecting program, aims to collect
1,000 tons of unwanted garments from customers in its more than 3,600
stores worldwide. The initiative is part of H&M’s goal to close the loop
in fashion by recycling garments to create reusable textile fibers. Year
round, customers receive a voucher for 15% off their entire purchase for
each bag of donated clothing. In celebration of H&M’s World Recycle
Week, customers who donate clothes from April 7th through
April 24th will receive an increased voucher for 30% off
their entire purchase, valid through April 27th. H&M was
selected in 2015 as a U.S. EPA Green Power Leadership Award winner and
placed 20th on the 2016 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the
World index.

H&M was established in Sweden in 1947. Today there are 420 stores in the
U.S. and approximately 3,600 stores in 61 markets worldwide. H&M at
Sundance Square is the 24th store in Texas, employing
approximately 30 people.
