Homeschoolers in St. Peters to Rally for School Choice

ST. PETERS, Mo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Homeschoolers will rally for school choice and offer an introduction to
the homeschool model for interested families on Thursday, January 28.

The rally will be hosted by the Homeschooler Link at the Chapel of the
Cross Lutheran Church in St. Peters at 12:00 pm on January 28.
Homeschool families or prospective homeschoolers in the St. Charles
County area are welcome to attend. The event is timed to coincide with
National School Choice Week (January 24-30, 2016), which will be the
largest series of education-related events in US history.

The program is both a celebratory rally and informative. The Board of
the Homeschooler Link will offer a presentation about school choices in
the area for prospective homeschooling families. Then, currently
homeschooled students will celebrate with a parade.

“We are thrilled to raise awareness of parental choice during National
School Choice Week with our Rally. No matter if families choose
traditional public, charter, private schools, online learning or
homeschooling parents know what’s best for their children,” said Andrea
Zinselmeyer, President, Homeschooler Link.

Over 250 participants are expected to learn more about homeschooling
options.
