iDevices Expands Leadership Team as it Continues its Strategic Direction and Growth in the Smart Home Market

AVON, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–iDevices®,
the preeminent brand in the smart home industry, announces the expansion
of their leadership team through internal promotion and the addition of
new talent. Warren Katz, formerly the company’s Vice President of
Marketing, is now a corporate officer through his promotion to Chief
Marketing Officer and VP of Business Development. Kelley McIntyre,
formerly the company’s Controller, has also stepped into the role of
corporate officer through his promotion to Chief Financial Officer. In
addition, iDevices added two new senior team members: Anna-Emily (AE)
Gaupp as General Counsel and Richard Peterson as VP of Sales. In early
2016, iDevices sold its highly-acclaimed iGrill® business to
Weber-Stephen Products and evolved its strategic direction to focus
exclusively on the smart home industry.

Warren Katz, CMO and VP of Business Development

Warren is responsible for the iDevices brand, setting and executing
against marketing strategy, as well as all business development and
strategic partnership activities. As an experienced marketing strategist
with an eye for creative execution, Warren has a track record for
delivering tangible results for a broad range of companies in the
technology, telecommunications and automotive industries. Prior to
joining iDevices, he was a senior consultant for CMG Partners, a
strategic marketing consulting firm based in Durham, NC. While there, he
led projects for clients such as Sprint, Comcast, and Progress Software.
His work centered on driving top-line growth through new product
development, brand and go-to-market strategy and marketing performance
management.

Before his time at CMG Partners, Warren managed marketing programs at Digitas
USA for major advertisers including American Express, General Motors,
and Sirius XM. In addition to holding a B.S. from the University of
Vermont, Warren holds an M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin School of Business at
Babson College.

Kelley McIntyre, CFO

Kelley manages the finance/accounting department at iDevices. His
responsibilities include forecasting and budgeting, overseeing monthly
closing process, maintaining internal controls, managing human
resources, monitoring cash, and working as a liaison with external
accountants and outside parties.

Prior to joining iDevices, Kelley was a Corporate Controller/Operations
Manager for Procare USA, and previously a Senior Accountant for Harper &
Whitfield PC where he gained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and
Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designations. Kelley earned a
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State
University.

Anna-Emily (AE) Gaupp, General Counsel

AE is responsible for managing all of the company’s legal requirements,
including those related to intellectual property, strategic business
partnerships, sales and distribution, compliance, and governance. AE has
broad experience serving as in-house counsel to both public and private
companies, most recently serving as General Counsel of Rock & Republic
Enterprises, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA. AE earned a Bachelor of Arts in
Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, and a Juris Doctor from
the University of Connecticut School of Law.

Richard Peterson, VP of Sales

Rich is responsible for growing the iDevices product availability
through Retail, Big Box, CEDIA installer, and new distribution channels
around the globe. His unique background within connected home,
wholesale, retail, premium brands, and the utility industry allow him to
bring the solution to his customers in a way that will resonate with
their buying habits and improve the overall experience.

Prior to iDevices Richard worked as the VP of Global Sales at Insteon,
where he launched Insteon in the retail market and grew their business
by 200% year-over-year.

Before his time at Insteon, Rich was the Director of Operations for the
Home Energy Platform at Best Buy, International Director for Business
planning and Operations at Best Buy, Territory General Manager for
Magnolia Audio Video in Seattle (owned by Best Buy), and other various
roles within the Best Buy organization. He also managed Sam’s Club
locations for 5 years prior to his Best Buy tenure.

Rich has a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from University
of Minnesota Mankato.

2016 will continue to be a pioneer year for iDevices, with new products
and services being announced in Q3 and Q4. iDevices will also be
attending CEDIA in September, launching a line of solutions for the
custom install market.
