Insight School of Michigan Students Return for 2016-2017 School Year

— Statewide online public school kicks off third year of operation
in the state September 6 —

LANSING, Mich.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Students at Insight
School of Michigan (ISMI), a tuition-free online public charter
school authorized by Central Michigan University, will return for their
2016-2017 school year on September 6, as the program marks its third
year of operation in the state. Using the award-winning K12 curriculum,
ISMI serves students in grades 6-12, providing a personalized learning
experience and the learning tools students need to succeed.

Through the unique platform, ISMI teachers provide instruction, guidance
and support, interacting with students and parents via email, telephone
and web-based classrooms. Each student receives an Individualized
learning plan (ILP) that takes each child’s unique strengths,
weaknesses, learning styles and aptitudes into consideration. Each
student’s ILP plans out a long-term, personalized learning strategy
through a collaborative team effort between the student, parent,
teachers, guidance counselor, and advisor.

and Family Support Team addresses real-life needs of every student to
give him or her academic, social and emotional support needed to
flourish in school and beyond.
