Institute for Child & Family Health (ICFH) Appoints New CEO to Head Agency
The Board of
for Child & Family Health (ICFH) today announced the appointment
of Juan C. Gonzalez, Ph.D. as its CEO. Dr. Gonzalez has a 20 year career
with ICFH and was previously the Director of Programs and Services. Dr.
Gonzalez assumed the role after longtime Executive Director Dr. Robert
Nolan retired on March 30th of this year.
Commenting on todays announcement, Stephen J. Makar, Board President,
said, The Board is delighted that someone of Dr. Gonzalezs caliber is
able to step into the role of CEO. Consistent with its succession plan,
the Board was unanimous in its choice of Dr. Gonzalez as he has the
necessary drive, strategic thinking and operational experience. He is
supported by an excellent team of senior executives.
It gives me great pleasure to see Dr. Gonzalez as the new CEO of ICFH;
said Dr. Robert Nolan, he has an outstanding track record of performance
over many years, with broad experience across developing programs and
services, and all categories. I have seen his considerable leadership
and skills in operation and he will be a strong leader for the agency.
Dr. Gonzalez, CEO, also commented: I am pleased to take on this role
and very much look forward to leading the organization to its next stage
of growth and performance, supported by an excellent senior management
team.
