It’s not a fantasy. GEICO associate wins once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Super Bowl through United Way contribution

INDIANAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–How many sports fans are making plans for the big game this weekend?
GEICO associate Tyffani Collins of Indianapolis will not have to worry
about finding a Super Bowl party to attend because she will be cheering
in person at the Super Bowl in Santa Clara, Calif.

Thanks to a partnership between the Indianapolis Colts and United Way of
Central Indiana, Collins won two tickets because of her contribution to
GEICO’s United Way annual workplace campaign. The promotion, in its
sixth year, encourages associates to make a charitable donation. One
lucky winner is then selected in a drawing to go to the Super Bowl.

Collins is an avid supporter of GEICO’s charitable activities. She grew
up understanding the impact that organizations like the United Way have
on the local community. Collins believes it’s important for associates
to get involved in community outreach. “One of the highest forms of
gratitude is giving back to your community,” said Collins. “Giving back
has a ripple effect, which makes our community a better place.”

Collins had no idea that her altruism would lead to a free trip to the
Super Bowl. Her dream package includes two Super Bowl tickets, airfare,
and hotel accommodations. As a huge football fan, she inherited her love
of sports from her mother. Collins is taking her mom to California as
her special guest at the game.

“I remember growing up celebrating Super Bowl Sunday at our house,” said
Collins. “It was always lots of fun and excitement.” Collins and her
mother are long-time Colts fans, but will be cheering for the Carolina
Panthers only for this week.
