Minnesota Students Benefit from Blended Learning in 2016 School Year

— Students return to blended learning public school August 25th

RICHFIELD, Minn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Students at Minnesota
Flex Academy
(MNFLEX), an accredited, tuition-free public school,
will begin their 2016-2017 school year on August 25, ready for another
year of blended online education and traditional onsite schooling.

At MNFLEX, a blended learning environment gives students in grades 5
through 8 an engaging and personalized learning experience. While
students at MNFLEX attend school five days a week, instruction is
delivered both independently online and with support in a traditional
classroom.

Each student’s schedule is designed to meet their individual needs.
Online coursework helps students move through subjects that they have
already mastered, while students needing more help on lessons use class
time to work through course material with direct instruction from
teachers.

“For our students, this educational journey is unlike any other,” said
Tora Townsend, Head of School at Minnesota Flex Academy. “We offer an
individualized education in an innovative environment where we are
focused on the success of our students.”

The MNFLEX learning environment is engaging and offers required core
classes along with art and P.E. as elective courses. The school’s
mission is to provide a personalized learning experience for every child
and prepare students for independent responsibility. Class sizes are
small and vary depending on student needs. This gives students the
flexibility to work independently or the opportunity to work directly
with a teacher when needed.

Earlier this summer, MNFLEX challenged enrolled families to prevent
summer ‘brain drain’ by offering students free access to LearnBop,
a self-paced solution that simulates a one-on-one, personalized math
tutoring experience. The award-winning online program will continue to
be available free of charge throughout the fall and can be used
alongside the regular math curriculum to build math skills or prepare
for high-level exams.

MNFLEX is still accepting enrollments for this fall. To learn more about
