WATERFORD, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Momentive Performance Materials Inc. (Momentive) (OTCQX: MPMQ) will
globally launch Silsoft
CLX-E conditioning agent at in-cosmetics Paris April 12-14th.
This multi-functional additive can offer hair care formulators the
ability to create products that provide durable conditioning, reduced
frizz and protection for hair from heat styling.
Hair becomes damaged and hydrophilic when it is exposed to aggressors
such as sunlight, mechanical stress, chemical treatments or heat.
Silsoft CLX-E conditioning agent is a cross-linkable silicone with an
[AB]n structure that can help restore damaged hair to its original
hydrophobic state. Studies have shown that when dried, hair treated with
products containing Silsoft CLX-E conditioning agent behaved similarly
to undamaged hair, resulting in improved manageability along with a
soft, radiant appearance with durable effects. Silsoft CLX-E
conditioning agent can provide these benefits through products such as
leave-on and rinse-off conditioners, shampoos, serums, pre-treatments
and sprays.
