North American Property Restoration Company Targets Seattle for Large Scale Growth

PuroClean CEO and Franchise Owner Will Discuss the Rising Demand for
Restoration Services Nov. 1

SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–About one in 15 insured homes in Seattle has a property damage claim
each year resulting from water or fire damage to the tune of $3.3
billion in direct fire and water mitigated losses incurred within the
Seattle metro market. To address the demand, PuroClean,
a leading North American property restoration company with more than 230
franchisees throughout the United States and Canada, will host events on
Nov. 1 in Seattle, where executives and a franchise owner will discuss
the need for restoration services with ambitious entrepreneurs in the
region.

PuroClean Chairman & CEO Mark Davis, along with other PuroClean
executives and PuroClean franchise owner Ben Doebler of Beaverton,
Oregon, will host a
pair of events
on Nov. 1. Davis will share his vision for the
national restoration company and why owning a franchise in Seattle could
be the first step along a business path with unlimited potential for
personal, professional and financial growth. Doebler was a restaurant
and hood cleaning service owner for 16 years before buying his PuroClean
franchise in 2014. Doebler will share his experience as a PuroClean
franchise owner, why he joined the brand, and the positive impact it has
had on his life while serving home and business owners whose properties
have been damaged by water, mold, fire and natural disasters.

The
events
will be held at the Hilton Seattle, 1301 6th Ave.,
Seattle, Washington. The first session will take place at 10 a.m., while
the second will be at 1 p.m.

Seattle is one of 11 new markets with high demand for restoration
services PuroClean has targeted for expansion. With more than 230 units
in its franchise network, PuroClean is projected to add 40 new franchise
owners across the United States, growing the network to nearly 300 in
2016. PuroClean also has 32 franchises in Canada.

“When damage occurs, property owners file claims with their insurance
companies, who in turn refer and pay a professional restoration company
to clean up and mitigate the damage. Situations like this arise at any
time, making our business constantly in demand,” Davis said. “Our
PuroClean franchise owners manage a crew to do the work, spend their
time marketing the business, and establish relationships with the
insurance agencies that drive business to PuroClean.”

More than 50,000 water damage losses occur per day in the United States,
as well as $21.6 million in daily fire damage losses. Yearly, around the
country, the restoration industry is a $188+ billion industry. Davis
noted that while many people associate cleanup and restoration with
large-scale natural disasters, a significant share of calls for
PuroClean service stems from common household and business mishaps such
as mold growth, overflowing washing machines, leaking pipes and kitchen
fires. About 37 percent of American homeowners claim water damage
through their insurance company. In fact, water damage claims are
growing faster than any other component of homeowner’s insurance,
according to the American Insurance Association.

“PuroClean is known as the ‘Paramedics of Property Damage’ for a
reason,” said Steve White, president and COO of PuroClean. “Our
franchise owners are the everyday heroes that help restore properties
and help get people’s lives back to normal.”
