Pet Supermarket Wins Big at Winterfest Boat Parade
SUNRISE, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Pet Supermarket, a national chain of pet stores headquartered in South
Florida, won big at the 2015 Winterfest Boat Parade in Fort Lauderdale.
It was recently announced that the Pet Supermarket themed Windridge K
yacht won both “Best Overall Showboat” and the coveted “People’s Choice
Award”, which was voted on by the public via text message.
This was Pet Supermarket’s first entry in the boat parade, and the
company went BIG. The boat was decorated with illuminated animals, and
on the boat there were four mascot dogs, four Miss Santas, and even Ms.
Florida Brie Gabrielle. The catered yacht had a DJ, custom lighting
system and entertainment as it sailed down Fort Lauderdale’s beautiful
Intracoastal Waterway. This made for a tremendously enjoyable evening
for the more than one hundred guests – most of whom were Pet Supermarket
employees.

The 2015 Winterfest Boat Parade, themed “Fairy Tales Afloat” took place
on December 12th, 2015. It was the 44th year for
the event, and was viewed by 1 million people in person, and 8 million
people nationwide on TV.
