P&G Brings New Copa America Centenario Trophy to Fans at Walmart Stores across the Country

Be That Fan Trophy Tour kicks off in Bentonville at the Annual
Walmart Shareholders Meeting

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–As an official sponsor of Copa America Centenario, Procter & Gamble is
bringing fans a nine-stop Be That Fan Trophy Tour, featuring the
commemorative gold trophy designed exclusively for the 100-year
anniversary of the tournament. The events will take place in June and
kick off at the annual Walmart Shareholders Meeting. The tour will stop
at Walmart stores in cities hosting tournament matches across the
country.

For the first time in Copa America history, the tournament will be held
in the United States. Copa America Centenario is a competition between
CONMEBOL (the South American Football confederation) and CONCACAF (the
North and Central American and the Caribbean football confederation)
with world-class players competing for 16 participating countries.

The Be That Fan Trophy Tour will have eight additional stops,
concluding on Saturday, June 25, in the New York area prior to the Copa
America Centenario Final, where the commemorative trophy will be
presented to the winning team.

Tour stops include:

  • June 1-2: Walmart Shareholders Meeting, Bentonville, Ark.
  • June 4: Walmart – 301 Ranch Drive, Milpitas, Calif.
  • June 5: Walmart – 777 Story Road, San Jose, Calif.
  • June 6: Walmart – 4651 Firestone Blvd., South Gate, Calif.
  • June 9: Walmart – 1100 Randall Road, Elgin, Ill.
  • June 12: Walmart – 1107 Shaver St., Pasadena, Texas
  • June 19: Walmart – 550 Providence Highway, Walpole, Mass.
  • June 21: Walmart – 4626 W. Diversey Ave., Chicago
  • June 25: Walmart – 2100 88th St., North Bergen, N.J.

Activities will take place from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. local time at each
event and are free and open to the public.

shoppers and soccer fans can admire and pose with the gold centennial
trophy at each stop. They will also enjoy the Be That Fan
experience in AstroTurf lined, soccer-themed tents, that includes soccer
