Shenandoah National Park, the 10th stop in their epic
year-long quest to capture the raw beauty and breathtaking scenery of
all 59 U.S. National parks in 52 weeks. “The
Greatest American Road Trip” was conceived to celebrate the
Centennial of the U.S. National Park Service, and Fujifilm is proud to
support this celebration.
Jonathan Irish, who has photographed for many notable publications and
media outlets including National Geographic, The New York Times, CNN,
and BBC, and Stefanie Payne, a former creative product development lead
for NASA, began their journey on January 1, 2016 in the warmer climates
of the Everglades, Dry Tortugas and Biscayne Parks. They are now
visiting Shenandoah National Park, known for its cascading waterfalls,
spectacular vistas, and quiet wooded hollows.
