Rogers Behavioral Health Plans to Serve Philadelphia Area in 2017

OCONOMOWOC, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Rogers Behavioral Health announced it plans to open an office in the
Philadelphia market beginning in early 2017, providing convenient local
access to specialized mental health care for surrounding communities.

Rogers Behavioral Health–Philadelphia will lease space within an office
building at 1 Winding Drive, in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia.
This is a mixed use area known as Presidential City on the west side of
the Philadelphia metro area. Rogers plans to offer specialized
outpatient programs for children, teens and adults struggling with mood
disorder
or obsessive-compulsive
disorder
(OCD) and related anxiety disorders. Additional program
options remain under review.

Accompanying this news was the announcement that Martin Franklin, PhD,
will serve as clinical director. Franklin is considered a leader in the
field of OCD and anxiety treatment, particularly for treatment of
children and teens. Franklin also serves as an associate professor of
clinical psychology in psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. He
will be joined by Brian Haney, of Glenside, Pennsylvania, who will
manage the office as director of operations.

“We have successfully extended our services to five states in the past
two years as part of our desire to respond to the growing demand for
quality mental health services,” said James
Ledbetter
, vice president of regional partial hospital operations
for Rogers, which is headquartered in Oconomowoc,
Wisconsin
. “Our goal with these specialized services is to
complement and fill gaps in services in these national markets.”

“We’re pleased to bring our strong legacy in behavioral healthcare to
Philadelphia. With the expertise of Dr. Franklin and the rest of our
team, we can offer local options in care,” added Stephanie
Eken, MD
, FAAP, regional medical director. “With this location, we
can provide the specialized day treatment someone needs. These programs
can also be a convenient, local step up or step down in care for someone
from the Northeast or East Coast who has sought us out for our
nationally recognized residential programs in Wisconsin.”

Rogers’ Philadelphia location will join a network of regional locations
