Roominate™ Raises over $1 Million for the Debut of Its New Line of Connected Building Kits

Wired Toy Company Connects with Large Group of Investors to Gain
Financial Support

SANTA CLARA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Roominate^™,
an award-winning line of wired building systems for girls aged six and
up, has raised over $1 million from funders including Mark Cuban,
Aspiration Growth Opportunities, iD Ventures America, Tandem Capital,
and the Stanford StartX fund. As a result of this funding support, the
company is now able to widely distribute the launch of its new rPower
line of connected building kits, which will allow girls to program and
control their Roominate creations from a phone or tablet. Girls will be
able to move an elevator up and down, spin a merry-go-round faster or
slower, drive a car, program lights to blink, and so much more!

On September 28, 2015, Roominate’s new line of building kits that
innovatively combine physical and digital play will be available at key
retailers including Amazon, Toys”R”Us and select Walmart stores.
