Save Our Water Encourages Conservation as Part of California Lifestyle

“Water Conservation: It’s For Life” is Focus of Statewide Marketing
Effort

SACRAMENTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Save
Our Water
’s “Water Conservation: It’s For Life” summer public
education campaign shifted into high gear this week with a full
statewide marketing effort. Radio, digital and outdoor ads have launched
throughout California. Messaging takes a positive approach to encourage
Californians to continue to conserve and make permanent changes to save
water as part of the “California Lifestyle.”

“This campaign aims to help Californians maintain their strong
commitment to saving water by providing ideas, tools and inspiration to
help make saving water an everyday habit,” said Jennifer Persike, Deputy
Executive Director of External Affairs and Member Services of the
Association of California Water Agencies. “‘Water Conservation: It’s For
Life’ is also an umbrella effort that water agencies and communities
around the state are using to encourage saving on the local level.”

“Water Conservation: It’s For Life” campaign elements include
billboards, outdoor media, traditional and digital radio, and digital
and social media efforts that will be seen and heard throughout the
state. The campaign is designed to be utilized on the local level
through Save Our Water’s enhanced conservation toolkit for water
agencies and businesses. The toolkit – a great resource of collateral
and tools available for free at www.saveourwater.com/toolkit

customized with logos and local information. Additional materials such
as infographics, tip sheets, web and social media graphics, and posters
have been uploaded to the site and are available for use throughout the
state.

Save Our Water this week also unveiled a full Spanish-language
version
of its all-new website launched last month. The new websites
