Spectrum Brands Holdings Increases Common Stock Dividend by 10.5 Percent to $0.42 Per Share, Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

MIDDLETON, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SPB) announced today that its
Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.42 per share on
the Company’s common stock, which is an increase of 10.5 percent
compared to the previous quarterly dividend of $0.38 per share.

The dividend is payable on March 7, 2017 to stockholders of record as of
the close of business on February 14, 2017.

Spectrum Brands has now increased its quarterly cash dividend rate for
four consecutive years following initiation of a common stock quarterly
dividend of $0.25 per share in March 2013.
