Sunrise Senior Living Communities Recognized By 2016 Bronze National Quality Award

MCLEAN, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sunrise
Senior Living celebrates 66 of its communities that have been
recognized as recipients of the 2016 Bronze – Commitment to Quality
Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center
for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The award is part of AHCA/NCAL’s National
Quality Award Program, which honors long-term and post-acute
communities across the nation that have demonstrated their dedication to
improving the lives of residents through quality care.

The 2016 year recipients join Sunrise’s 76 assisted living communities
that earned the Bronze National Quality Award last year. For a full

Implemented by AHCA/NCAL in 1996, the National Quality Award Program is
centered on the core values and criteria of the nationally recognized
Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. The program includes three
progressive levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Trained examiners review
each member application to determine if the center has met the criteria.

All 2016 National Quality Award recipients will be honored during
AHCA/NCAL’s Annual Convention & Exposition, October 16-19, in Nashville,
TN.
