DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#K9CancerWalk–Walking your dog is always great exercise for you and your pet, but on
Sunday, May 15, your daily walk can be so much more. In fact, by joining
Morris Animal Foundation for its Northern Virginia K9 Cancer Walk, you
and your dog can help fight canine cancer.
Many dog lovers have lost a beloved canine companion to cancer, or have
a friend or family member who has lost a pet to this terrible disease.
In fact, each year, more than 6 million new cases of cancer are
diagnosed in dogs. By walking in the Northern Virginia K9 Cancer Walk,
you can help give dogs a paw up on cancer by raising funds that support
canine cancer research. By encouraging others to walk, or support your
walk with a gift, you can grow your impact beyond two feet and four paws.
