CALABASAS HILLS, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–In the spirit of the holiday season, The
Cheesecake Factory
® and its charitable foundation are grateful to be
able to assist those who may not have the means to celebrate. More than
3,000 staff members from The Cheesecake Factory will gather in 13
locations around the United States to prepare and serve sit-down holiday
meals at its 14th annual Thanksgiving Day Feast.

The Cheesecake Factory’s Thanksgiving Day Feast will take place at 13
Salvation Army locations coast to coast including Anaheim, Atlanta,
Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Ft. Lauderdale, Houston, Long Island, Los
Angeles, Miami, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. on
Thanksgiving Day. The Cheesecake Factory will prepare and serve holiday
meals to more than 6,000 low-income individuals and families who will be
treated to a full-service, sit-down meal that includes freshly roasted
turkey with all the trimmings, and The Cheesecake Factory’s famous
seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake.

“The Cheesecake Factory is proud to be serving our 14th annual
Thanksgiving Day Feast,” said David Overton, Founder and CEO of The
Cheesecake Factory. “We’re so pleased that we are able to provide a
special meal for the less fortunate and are very appreciative of our
staff members who volunteer their time on Thanksgiving to serve others.”

The annual Thanksgiving Day Feast is one of several programs that The
Cheesecake Factory has initiated to help support hunger-relief in
America. The company also participates in a nationwide Harvest Food
Donation Program by regularly donating fresh food from its restaurants
to local food rescue operations for distribution to soup kitchens and
shelters to aid those in need. Since the program’s inception in 2007,
The Cheesecake Factory has donated more than 3.4 million pounds of food.
Additionally, The Cheesecake Factory has donated nearly $4 million to
Feeding America®, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief
organization, through their partnership over the past seven and a half
years.

As additional support for Feeding America, The Cheesecake Factory staff
members nationwide participated in a Peanut Butter Drive during
September’s Hunger Action Month, collecting more than 180,000 pounds of
peanut butter to benefit local Feeding America food banks. Peanut butter
is a crucial supply for food banks, supplying a protein-filled option
for school lunches and meals for families.
