Time Inc. Names Leslie Yazel Editor-in-Chief of Real Simple

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Time Inc. (NYSE: TIME) has named Leslie Yazel Editor-in-Chief of Real
Simple, it was announced today by Alan Murray, Chief Content Officer,
and Nathan Lump, Editorial Director of the Lifestyle Group. A skilled
editor with deep experience reaching and engaging audiences across
multiple platforms, Yazel joins Time Inc. from Cosmopolitan, where she
was Director of Editorial Content. She will oversee the content and
editorial operations of Real Simple beginning on October 17. Yazel will
report to Lump.

section. Prior to her time at the Journal, Yazel served in various
editorial capacities at national print brands, including the Washington
Post, Redbook, Seventeen, Glamour and Maxim. She earned her bachelor’s
degree in liberal arts from the University of Iowa.
