Time Warner Cable’s Facebook Page Reaches 1 Million Fans

Time Warner Cable announced today that its English-language Facebook

page (facebook.com/twc)

has surpassed 1 million fans. The company uses social media to amplify

their marketing initiatives and engage their customers. It provides

exclusive, unique ways for customers to connect with pop culture and

enjoy their entertainment of choice even better, including giving them

opportunities to enter sweepstakes for a chance to win trips to major

shows or movie premieres, and offering special access to interviews with

their favorite stars.

Since launching its “Enjoy Better” brand campaign in February, the

Facebook page has seen exponential growth, growing approximately 195%

(338,000 to 1MM+ fans). The “Enjoy Better” campaign aims at promoting

how Time Warner Cable’s products and services can make whatever its

customers love, even better and reminds them of the role Time Warner

Cable plays in their lives; connecting them to the entertainment,

information and people that they love.

The company recently launched an “Enjoy Movies Better” tab on Facebook

that gives fans a chance to connect with the movies that they love. This

tab brings customers exclusive interviews, behind-the-scene access and

more. An “Enjoy Sports Better” tab was also recently introduced on the

Facebook page. Similar to what the movie tab has done with movies, the

sports tab gives fans the opportunity to engage more deeply with the

sports that they love. There is also a Mi Cultura Spanish-language

Facebook page (facebook.com/micultura)

that has grown approximately 400% (from 40,000 to 200,000+ fans) over

the past year. The Mi Cultura Facebook page helps Time Warner Cable’s

Hispanic customers to connect more deeply with their passions and the

content that they enjoy.
