Tripping.com Announces First of Its Kind Price Comparison Tool

New Feature Saves Travelers 10% on Vacation Rentals

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tripping.com,
the world’s largest search engine for vacation homes and short-term
rentals, announced a Price Comparison tool helping travelers find the
best price for vacation rentals. Tripping.com is the first site to
compare both real-time and static feeds: this brings transparency to the
vacation rental market by showing consumers the best price for a
vacation rental across all partner sites where it may be listed.

With many of today’s vacation rentals listed across multiple sites and
often at different nightly rates, Tripping.com’s Price Comparison tool
automatically identifies properties listed on more than one partner site
– showing the traveler all available rates for that property on the
site. As owners who list on multiple sites typically list on two, this
feature will save travelers an average of 18 percent per night, about 10
percent overall when booking.

“What we’ve done is create a way for travelers to book with confidence,
knowing they have seen all the rates for a given property,” said Jen

close to 20 percent of our inventory is currently listed on multiple

In addition, Tripping.com announced the newest member of the company’s
board, Fritz Demopoulos. Fritz is a co-founder of Qunar, China’s leading
travel metasearch site, and was appointed to this role for to his deep
understanding of travel and metasearch.
