TVB Names Brian Wexler Vice President, Local Division

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–TVB (www.tvb.org),
the trade association of America’s local broadcast television industry,
announced today that Brian Wexler has been named Vice President,
Local Division. Mr. Wexler brings over 24 years of broadcast, sales and
marketing leadership experience to his new role at TVB. He will assume
his responsibilities immediately and report to Brad Seitter, Executive
Vice President, Business Development.

In his new role, Brian Wexler will be responsible for working with
members to create category-specific presentations further establishing
local broadcast television as the leading medium for advertisers and
agencies to allocate their marketing dollars. He will also work closely
with station account executives to promote eBusiness process
efficiencies and provide training via webinars, webcasts and in-person
meetings.

Mr. Wexler possesses extensive cross-platform business development
experience and a long-term record of success. Beginning in 1991 he has
served as a local, regional and national sales manager for a number of
local stations owned by leading broadcast networks and their affiliates,
including TEGNA,CBS
Television
and FOX
Television
. He joins TVB
from WTSP-TV, where he served as Director of National Multimedia
Accounts.
