Axalta Welcomes Employees’ Children for Day of Giving Back
GLEN MILLS, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–In celebration of Take Your Child to Work Day on April 28, Axalta
Coating Systems, a leading global supplier of liquid and powder
coatings, will host employees and their children for a day of community
engagement, learning and fun.
Employees and their kids will break out the toolboxes and participate in
a GoBabyGo! workshop, an activity designed to teach the children about
Axalta’s dedication to giving back to those in need. GoBabyGo! is a
nonprofit organization that modifies motorized toy cars to be used by
special needs toddlers who have difficulty walking or crawling.
Participants will receive the story of a specific toddler and the custom
plans for his or her car. After building the cars, they will meet the
toddlers and their families in person and make final adjustments to the
cars.
The GoBabyGo! program will be followed by presentations from Axalta team
members.
