Club Pilates ‘Barrels’ into Major U.S. Markets with Continued Franchise Growth

Nation’s Largest Pilates Brand Signs Agreements Set to Bring Studios
to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Chicago

COSTA MESA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Club
Pilates
, the largest and fastest-growing Pilates franchise in the
United States, is expanding its brand footprint through recent franchise
sales that will bring a total of 11 studios to the Philadelphia,
Pittsburgh and Chicago areas.

The announcement comes on the heels of a strong year of growth for the
franchise, which currently has more than 140 open studios and more than
460 territories sold in the United States. Momentum has largely been
driven by the brand’s unparalleled and premium service, state-of-the-art
equipment, membership packages tailored to each market and empowering
atmosphere.

Further establishing its market dominance on a national scale, Club
Pilates will debut in the Philadelphia market as early as July, with a
studio in Frazer, PA. The Frazer location is the first of two studios
that will be owned by entrepreneurial couple Randy and Margaret Longo,
who will open a second Club Pilates in Exton. In addition the Longo’s
studios, George and Kris Waller signed a two-unit agreement that will
bring Club Pilates to King of Prussia and Radnor over the next 12
months. A Pittsburgh location is expected to open in Wexford later this
year, and additional areas being targeted for development include
Harrisburg, York, Scranton and Williamsport.

In addition to growth throughout the state of Pennsylvania, Club Pilates
announced a six-unit agreement in the Chicago metropolitan area, where
the brand already has 18 studios in development. Franchise owners Eric
and Kristen Kohn are targeting Hindsdale, Bolingbrook, and Oak Park for
development.

locations require approximately 1,500 square feet of retail space, and
the total investment to become a Club Pilates franchise owner ranges
from $158,252 to $224,657.
