Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children at Sky Ridge to Open Its First Dedicated, 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Department

LONE TREE, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sky Ridge Medical Center is opening a dedicated, pediatric emergency
department on Monday, February 15 at 7 a.m. This new 11-bed ER is
located on the north side of the campus in the Evergreen Medical Office
Building, adjacent to the Women’s Hospital.

“We wanted to create a unique, pediatric focused emergency department to
better serve the needs of our community…close to home,” said Susan
Hicks, CEO of Sky Ridge Medical Center. “We know how stressful it can be
bringing a child to the hospital for any reason. This new location will
give our parents peace of mind knowing their child is in the care of
experts who only work with children.”
