Dole Leads May 26 Celebration of National Fruit & Vegetable Holiday

WHAT:

The second annual celebration of National Eat More Fruits and
Vegetables Day (NEMF&VD), an official national holiday
created in 2015 to encourage greater public consumption of fresh
produce.

HAPPENINGS:

• Kickoff of the National Get Up and
Grow!™ Together Tour, a 42-city celebration of healthy
living. Three caravans arrive in New York City, Dallas and New
Orleans in time for the May 26 holiday before visiting 400
free public Tour stops through September.

• FREE public offerings at each Tour stop
include recipe tastes, recipe booklets, a Kid’s Corner,
healthy-living insights, sharable selfies, the onsite Healthy
Living Challenge Kiosk and other fun, interactive experiences
and giveaways for kids and adults.

• Official NEMF&VD Twitter Party on
Thurs., May 26, 8-9pm ET. Dole is partnering with
actor, comedian and social media guru Stephen Kramer Glickman to
rally the social community to share healthy fruit and veggie
