Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction Celebrates Historic 100 Millionth Visitor Milestone This Holiday Season

100 Millionth Visitor to Receive the Sweetest Hershey’s Chocolate
World Attraction Memory of All

HERSHEY, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hershey’s Chocolate World (NYSE: HSY) Attraction announced today
that it will celebrate its 100 millionth visitor this December.
Beginning today and leading up to the anticipated 100 millionth visitor, Hershey’s
Chocolate World
Attraction is inviting fans to celebrate the
monumental milestone by sharing their favorite sweet memories both in
store and online, and continuing to make new ones, culminating in the
sweetest memory to date – the 100 Millionth Memory.

“Visitors to Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction aren’t just
learning about how chocolate is made or enjoying a sweet treat. From
meeting the Hershey’s characters and riding Hershey’s Chocolate
Tour for the first time, to personal milestones like birthday
celebrations and engagements, it’s a joy to see people creating sweet
and lasting memories with their loved ones,” said Suzanne Jones, Vice
President, The Hershey Experience. “We anticipate the 100 Millionth
Memory to happen around the December holidays, so we are excited to
launch a month-long celebration in December as we count down to the
milestone with our fans.”

Visitors during December will join Hershey’s Chocolate World
Attraction with a virtual countdown clock in the lobby, witnessing how
their visit and the memory they created bring the 100 Millionth Memory
one step closer.

Share Your #100MillionMemories

Beginning today, fans are invited to share their favorite
memories made at Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction online
using #100MillionMemories. Those who post using #100MillionMemories will
be entered for a chance to have their memories showcased on HersheysChocolateWorld.com/100Million
and featured at the end of the Hershey’s Chocolate Tour at Hershey’s
Chocolate World
Attraction.

Fans who post their #100MillionMemories and show them at their next
visit to Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction will receive a free Hershey’s
Milk Chocolate Bar to make their memories even sweeter. Hershey’s
Chocolate World
Attraction will also celebrate the 100 Millionth
Memory milestone by counting down their own favorite memories and
sharing them with #100MillionMemories posts on social media every Monday.

The Sweetest Memory of All

Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction will celebrate the lucky 100
millionth visitor by making their memory—the 100 Millionth Memory—the
sweetest to date. To mark the historic visit, the 100 millionth visitor
will have the honor of helping to name the calf in the fan-favorite
barnyard scene of Hershey’s Chocolate Tour. The newly named calf will
join the other seven cows on the ride whose names were chosen with the
help of fans and employees of The Hershey Company earlier this year,
ahead of the ride’s relaunch.

In addition to naming the calf on the Hershey’s Chocolate Tour, the
100 millionth visitor will receive:

  • A five-pound Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar, free admittance to
all Hershey’s Chocolate World Attractions for a year and free Hershey’s
chocolate and candy for a year.
  • The title of “Mayor” of Hershey’s Chocolate World for the day,
with the option of issuing an official proclamation for all Hershey’s
    Chocolate World
Attraction visitors that day; sweetening the
memories of all in attendance for the 100 Millionth Memory celebration.

The 100 millionth visitor will also have the opportunity to give back
with their participation in a 100-second shopping spree of Hershey’s
Largest Candy Store within Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction,
benefiting the Ronald McDonald House.

For those unable to attend, Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction
will invite fans to celebrate the 100 Millionth Memory alongside them
through Facebook Live.
