Maloney teamed up with a friend hoping to help their neighbors forget
about the storm’s devastation. Their idea was to turn everyone into an
artist by providing them a blank canvas, step-by-step art instruction
and a glass of wine. Painting

On the episode, Maloney worked as an art instructor, studio manager,
warehouse supervisor and franchisee. Maloney was excited to see how
passionate employees within the company are when it comes to making the
customer experience memorable – from quality control of canvases in
their own warehouse to greeting guests at the door when it’s their time
to paint. Throughout the journey, she gets a first-hand look at the
personal and professional struggles of franchisees and their employees.

As a result of her findings while on her “Undercover Boss” mission,
Maloney has since implemented an Artist Advisory Board for the company,
which helps to acknowledge and compensate artists for work they have
created and is taught nationwide.

“Undercover Boss,” in its eighth season, is a two-time Emmy
Award-winning reality series that follows high-level executives as they
slip anonymously into the rank-and-file of their own organizations. Each
week, a different leader will sacrifice the comfort of their corner
office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their
operation.

Led by local art instructors, Painting with a Twist guests paint on bare
canvases using paint and brushes provided by the studio. The 8,000 piece
library of original artwork ranges from landscapes, abstracts and
cityscapes, to creative renderings of animals, iconic buildings and
