Rideshare Company Fare to Donate Portion of Proceeds to Orlando Victims and Families

AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#WeStandWithOrlando–New Austin ridesharing company Fare is donating $1 from every ride to
Equality Florida to help Orlando victims and their families. The $1
donation comes from Fare fees, not driver fees. This fundraiser began
Tuesday and will run through 11:59 p.m. Friday, June 17.

“Fare stands for fairness in every sense of the word,” said Fare
Co-founder Michael Leto. “We’re saddened by the Orlando news and want to
do our part to help the victims and their families. Donating a portion
of our proceeds is just one small way we can help.”

Fare currently has 2,500 drivers available to transport customers in
